MY STORY

"Over my 27 years working in the eye care industry, I have learned that humans see with our brains, not just the eyes. The brain works while the visual system and our eyes project the image. Much like I've studied the processes behind our eyes throughout my career, I became interested in how we adapt our behavior to learn something new.

I started to understand more about this connection through my Master of Education and Master of Instructional Design degrees. My teaching inspired this education serving at North Carolina State University. I used instructional content to support students' academic development."
